Training management work for many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.
The relationships we have with others should really be broad avenues of thanksgiving and gratitude. Too often we get bogged down in the details of our interactions with one another. When we do recall to say "thank you" to one another, we're virtually consistently referring to merely one action or favor.
How frequently do we look beyond that? I'm reminded of a narrative in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus heals 10 lepers of their afflictions in contemplating this. Of the 10 who are cured, only one makes the attempt to say "thank you." But he'sn't simply saying thank you. He falls down and praises God because of what's occurred. It's clear he understands who Jesus actually is. Jesus acknowledges this by declaring the guy's beliefs has made him beyond the easy curing of the disease. By offering thanks and compliments, the man revealed that he valued what was done for him, but that he wanted to be in relationship with God from that day forwards. As we gather with our families and friends for Thanksgiving and the coming holidays, we're given the same opportunity as this man who had been healed by Jesus. We have the chance to exhibit gratitude to the men Wonderful Pastor Chris and women in our own lives, but we must go beyond merely thanking individuals for what they've done. We care about to understand how important they can be to us, then they must be told by us, if we need the people. We have to thank them for just being parents, our friends, kids, siblings, relatives or whatever they might be. If we need those relationships to be as deep and as meaningful as they ought to be, then they must be cherished far above anything we value or appreciate. All of the great things in our lives flow from that important relationship that people have with God, and particularly from the relationships we have with other. So, this year let's not just for what they've done, thank folks.
