Training management work for many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.
The relationships we have with others should really be broad avenues of thanksgiving and gratitude. Too often we get bogged down in the details of our interactions with one another. When we do recall to say "thank you" to one another, we're virtually consistently referring to merely one action or favor.
![]() How frequently do we look beyond that? I'm reminded of a narrative in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus heals 10 lepers of their afflictions in contemplating this. Of the 10 who are cured, only one makes the attempt to say "thank you." But he'sn't simply saying thank you. He falls down and praises God because of what's occurred. It's clear he understands who Jesus actually is. Jesus acknowledges this by declaring the guy's beliefs has made him beyond the easy curing of the disease. By offering thanks and compliments, the man revealed that he valued what was done for him, but that he wanted to be in relationship with God from that day forwards. As we gather with our families and friends for Thanksgiving and the coming holidays, we're given the same opportunity as this man who had been healed by Jesus. We have the chance to exhibit gratitude to the men Wonderful Pastor Chris and women in our own lives, but we must go beyond merely thanking individuals for what they've done. We care about to understand how important they can be to us, then they must be told by us, if we need the people. We have to thank them for just being parents, our friends, kids, siblings, relatives or whatever they might be. If we need those relationships to be as deep and as meaningful as they ought to be, then they must be cherished far above anything we value or appreciate. All of the great things in our lives flow from that important relationship that people have with God, and particularly from the relationships we have with other. ![]() So, this year let's not just for what they've done, thank folks.

IMPORTANT INFO; Your Pastor Chris Explains How Our Lord and Savior Has Expanded the Concept of Love.3/13/2017 What exactly is the 2nd greatest command? If you're a scholar of Scripture, a believer, it's possible which you said something like "Adore your neighbor as yourself." If you did, you'd be appropriate - nearly.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all of your soul and with your entire mind, Jesus himself said. This is actually the very first and greatest commandment. And this was Jesus' answer to the question, "Which is the greatest commandment in Regulations?" - referring, needless to say, to the Law of Moses. People come to me, Pastor Chris, as head of Christ Embassy and have questions about the most important commandment. Until Jesus came, the 2nd greatest command as stated in the Old Testament (Leviticus 19) was wholly acceptable. Actually, I presume it was the best we could hope for in relation to loving another human being. This is actually The Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12): Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. But throw into the mix the reality that sometimes we don't even love ourselves. Sometimes we are able to genuinely fight to like that which we are, who we are, and certainly what we do. Just how can we be expected to love others if we don't even really know how exactly to love ourselves, as we love ourselves? There are days when many of us struggle merely to be nice to ourselves. So how do we love? Jesus gives the answer. Among our culture's greatest troubles is busyness. ![]() How about you? Are you the postal worker, oppressed with the monotony of an unending routine? Can you feel overworked without any sense of accomplishment? Are you currently withstanding the pressure and duty that you are put on by others? Are you really experiencing burn out? A long record of pros and hobbyists are ready to give advice. How will you be able to differentiate between the person who is just guessing and the person who truly knows what will allow you to? Please consider Jesus' invitation before you go to anyone else. "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry pastor Chris heavy burdens, and I shall give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 The Book). This gracious invitation comes from God's Son who "has been given power over everything" (Matthew http://urlm.co.uk/www.pastorchrisonline.org 11:27 The Book). "I will cause you to rest (I am going to ease and relieve and refresh your souls)." It is a release of God's power to work in you. It's God. ![]() Jesus explained that "Everyone who sins is a slave of sin" (John 8:34 The Book). Unforgiven and unconfessed sins are a significant weight that Jesus can take away. Coming to Jesus isn't complicated. Just call out to him."Jesus, I want your help. Please forgive my sins, take away my frustration, and give me your remainder." ![]() Jesus offers the solution to keep the remainder he gives. Listen, "Take my yoke upon you. Allow me to teach you because I 'm meek and tender, and you'll find rest for the souls" (Matthew 11:29 The Book). In that day the yoke of another meant to come under that man's direction and walk in his footsteps. Jesus was a teacher that is gentle and humble. The yoke, what Jesus needs and teaches, is useful wholesome and great. Never pressing, tough, sharp and unpleasant, but comfortable, nice and gracious! (Amplified Bible) The burden he gives is light and simple to carry. On another occasion Jesus said, "you're truly my disciples if you keep obeying my teachings. And you'll learn the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32 The Book). Should you'd like to be free, accept Jesus' amazing offer of rest. Teaching and learning in the scriptures, are considerably more than academic. It involves knowing and responding, in addition to being directed by God's principles in relationship to others to God. It calls for the student to put the Word of God into practice, not simply hear it (Jas. 1:22). It requires hearing a word from your surface and putting it upon the inside, in order that it might be expressed in our every activity. 2:1-7). God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6), and He admonishes us to meditate on His Word day and night that we may find to do all that is written therein.
All things must be done unto edifying. If those present cannot be instructed by what is being done, then it shouldn't be done. Just as with the gift of tongues (that was spoken in the church to help everyone) so it's with prophecy. Those that listen will learn and be comforted. Strengthen, the end result of prophecy is to comfort, encourage, edify, exhort, spark and help. These should be the guidelines for prophecy inside the New Testament church. We, in ministry, are given the sole duty as believers to build others up. This happens in various ways as we promote peace and harmony, walk in love, and seek the accurate welfare of others. We must unto the edifying of the church, and speak things which can be good and valuable to the spiritual advancement of others. Message From Pastor Chris Oyakilhome, Jesus Needs an Simple Thanksgiving Dinner A neighbor of ours who lived just down the corridor came by and knocked on our door. He had just gotten back from your food pantry. He held up a frozen turkey, clarified that he only liked to eat the meat that was dark, and he wondered if we might like the other parts? Taken aback, I said we would, and he thrust against the complete fowl into my arms. "Wonderful," he said, " give me the legs and wings and simply why don't you cook it?" I concurred, and I encouraged him to eat dinner with us. He said yes, took a few minutes to think over it, and after that returned to his apartment. At the time, we were still having trouble connecting with our neighbors, the majority of whom were folks combating addiction issues, generational poverty, and systemic injustices. This particular neighbor was friendly but removed. He liked to sip at his black coffee on the stoop outside and keep an eye on all the comings and goings, and he also liked to remark on how out-of-place daughter that was little, my husband, and I were. We tried to be friendly and bright -inviting him around giving plates of biscuits to him -but the interactions were compelled and our neighbor kept his space. With a turkey he showed up until the morning. I understood I needed to do it all up: perhaps pie, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole. We were smack dab in the middle of a dreadfully cold, Midwestern winter, and we needed something to boost our spirits. On the day of our religious holiday, the scent of a roasting turkey filled the air, as well as our neighbor showed up right at dinnertime. We ate and laughed and chatted about issues both small (teasing my daughter) and big (our individual religious beliefs). Our apartment was in its usual state of disrepair, there were no decorations, and there were only several side dishes to go around. And the end result was perfect: great food, conversation, and to be able to extend our friendship, a chance to make room for more people within our table. The social benefits of the meal, in part surprised me due to how I comprehended outreach to the poor-as a form of charity, not cordiality. I grew up because it was an opportunity to do some good in the world, loving Thanksgiving. I loved going to my church the second or third week in November and helping put together big cardboard boxes stuffed with Stove Top stuffing, carrots, onions, potatoes, cans of cranberry sauce, packets of gravy, store bought pumpkin pie, and, yes, a frozen turkey. I loved delivering those food boxes all over the town, knocking on doors, carrying the cartons indoors, craning to get a glimpse of lives at the edges of my world-people who were in demand. I'd deliver the boxes and return home, glowing inwardly at a great deed done. But there remained in me a nagging sense which I needed to do more, that a once-a-year peek into these different lives was simply inadequate. Each time I dropped a Thanksgiving carton off, the interaction was awkward. The folks were strangers to me, just names from a list at church. I anticipated them to be grateful, and that I expected to receive some thanks for my part in helping. The exchange was neutral, hierarchical, and infused with the standard functions of charity- the inferior receiver and also the great giver. These vacation interactions resulted in an analyze expectation for how I interacted with others across ethnic or class lines although they seemed innocuous. I'd always be the helper, the gracious host, the one expanding my table - than me would continually be the ones in need and folks who have been different. My neighbor and several more like him have altered my conception of generosity and me. He is the one that packs it up with food wheels his cart to the food bank each Tuesday, and distributes it to other individuals who might require it. The common thread in these types of interactions is twofold: One, people from lower-income communities are several of the most generous folks I've ever met, and two, it takes being in real relationship with people to be able to both encounter and practice.
